What to do with your email spam!

Report Email Spam
This is pretty simple but I have been using this technique for years and it works. But you have to be upfront with who you are.
Whenever I get a email that is obviously spam because it doesn’t have an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email I forward it to Spam Report" spam@uce.gov. But the one trick is you must have a signature as who you are with your physical address. I also include my phone number. I have tried this without my information and the spam keeps on coming. But when I tell the spam@uce.gov who I am and that I am real the spam cuts down and I do not see the repeat spam. I will see new ones, and they never stop, but I will see a reduction.
My thought is if more people practiced reporting spam maybe it would start to go away a little more.
The other spam I get is where people scrape my email address from places and then add me to their email list. They do have the unsubscribe link so I just click on that and unsubscribe. But I am starting to get tired of this and am about to report them after I unsubscribe. I see these coming all the time as some of these web publishers are either buying my email or going through the web scraping them. An old practice that has not gone away like it was meant to.
I think it is because people just don’t know where to report the spam activity, or they just don’t care to know and put up with it. If you are like me you get a bit of email and with the added spam it takes up your time and loads your inbox with stuff you have no interest in.
So forward those spam email to spam@uce.gov and help put an end or the start to the end of these spammers. Put it in your contacts for easy access. Doing this works, give it a try!
